About The Course

The world over, Post Graduate studies are a normal part of basic engineering education. Time has come when Post Graduate degree would become mandatory in recruitment in various positions in Industry, R&D organizations and Government Sectors. Engineering education is one sector where AICTE has already prescribed M.Tech. as the minimum qualification for the post of a Lecturer.

The Master of Technology delivers expert skills and applied competencies required for the professional engineer. It is designed to train and enhance professional practice, advance technical and specialist skills, and provide an opportunity to put theory into practice with applied projects and research. The degree also delivers communication, strategic and project management skills essential to the practising engineer.

Eligibility for Program

B.Tech. or an equivalent degree in the allied branch of Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University.

Valid GATE Score in Computer Science (CS) or Information Technology (IT)

Candidates who do not have valid GATE score can opt for Shobhit University PG entrance test(PGET'18). Qualified candidates with 75% or above marks in B.Tech will be eligible for 50% waiver in tuition fee.

Hostel Allocation Policy

Hostel rooms are allocated for the complete academic year only. With our complete academic year stay policy, students can avoid the hassle of relocating or searching for alternative accommodation each semester.

*The security deposit will be refundable to the student after s/he successfully completes her/his course. In case a student leaves the course midway or shifts to another institution without taking consent of the university, or without an NOC, the security deposit will be forfeited.
