Shobhit University, Gangoh is holding its First Convocation on Thursday, May 24, 2018. The Convocation is for the students who have been declared qualified for the award of Degrees and Medals on or before 25-09-2017.

On this occasion all eligible students will be awarded their degrees. To attend the convocation the degree recipients have to register themselves through the University website (click here to Register Now). The last date for Registration is Saturday, May 19, 2018 (till 5:00 pm).

Note: The parents and / spouse of the degree recipients can also attend the convocation. In this regard, the confirmation must be made in the on-line registration form.

The degree recipients are required to collect their convocation robes on the same day from 8:00 am onwards from the designated counters near the convocation venue by paying a refundable security to the vendor.

The Schedule of the Convocation program on Thursday, May 24, 2018 is as under:

• Reporting Time : 7:30 am
• Mandatory Rehearsal : 8:30 am
• Convocation Start: 10.00 am
• Convocation Lunch : 1:30 pm onwards
• The Venue of the convocation is Shobhit University, Gangoh Auditorium.

Please Note

• No Separate invitation will be sent to the recepients of degrees / merits.
• The degree recipients should carry a Photo Identity Proof (University Student ID Card, Voter ID card, PAN card, Driving License or employee ID card) with them as a proof of their identity.
• The degree recipients must sign the receipt form immediately after collecting their degrees.

CONVOCATION CEREMONY – Etiquettes

To ensure the ceremony is conducted with dignity, honour and solemness, all the degree recipients and guests/parents are requested to strictly observe the rules and etiquettes listed below:

• Degree recipients and guests must be seated for the convocation atleast 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
• Degree recipients and guests are NOT to leave their seats or move about during the ceremony.
• Degree recipients and guests are advised to have their meals before entering the convocation venue.
• Only officially appointed photographers are allowed to take photographs or any form of audio-visual recording.
