On 07/Oct/2017, a CSR initiative has been taken by Dr Poonam Devdutt, Director, School of Business Studies, Shobhit University, Meerut. 29 students and 2 teachers from G. D. Goenka Public School, Muzzafarnagar visited Shobhit University.
Firstly, students were taken to Centre for Yoga and Research. There faculty members of Yoga showcased them the department. Students also learned some basic yoga asanas there. Then they visited School of Law and Constitutional Studies, School of Business Studies, Library, Gym, Hostel, School of Science and Technology and all the Departments and Laboratories.
Every School and Department of Shobhit University showcased their department in a very organised manner. Faculties of all the Schools and Departments detailed students about various courses we offered, career opportunities in various fields and many more things. Students also raised many queries and very keenly and enthusiastically they visited the whole campus.
The basic motive of this session was to make students aware about various emerging opportunities in various fields, to assist them in goal setting and to give them insight into more career options. After the visit students had lunch.
